Founded in 1761, German company Faber-Castell recently updated its line of luxury inks with new colors in substantial glass bottles. Delivering excellent flow, shading, and sheen, each ink offers some degree of permanence when subjected to water. The 75-milliliter bottle has an ovoid shape and robust, architectural design, with slightly fluted edges, a weighty glass shoulder, and a chrome cap bearing the family crest on a black medallion.
Note: This drop includes two bottles of ink. At checkout, you’ll have your choice of colors: burned orange, carbon black, cobalt blue, deep sea green, electric pink, garnet red, gulf blue, hazelnut brown, India red, midnight blue, moss green, royal blue, stone gray, turquoise, violet blue, or viper green.
Established by Kaspar Faber—who began his career as a cabinetmaker in the Bavarian city of Stein—Faber-Castell remains a family business today. Now helmed by an eighth-generation Faber-Castell, it stays true to its tenets of quality, tradition, and innovation, and has expanded its line of fine inks and writing instruments to include drawing and crafting products for students and children.
