For the price its durability is incredible. I've had mine for over a year and it has housed 40-100lb of climbing gear. keeps the stuff dry and easily accessible with the large u-shaped zipper. Only reasons I don't give it 5 stars are these: the padding on a bag of this size is abysmal, would have been better off with just wider straps that narrowed near the the middle to make the carry handle, and there isn't a pad for the shoulder strap, which can really dig in. However, $20 on amazon gets some great modular shoulder pads that fit on the backpack straps, so all in all with an $80 total (though I think it might be $60, been a while since I looked at how much I paid for this drop) it beats the hell out of a Patagonia bag of similar size and construction. With the webbing on the outside you can carry all kinds of other climbing gear clipped on with carabiners, but I haven't needed to use that on anything but my shoes to keep them aired out, because the storage space is more than enough for a 70m rope, harness, chalk bag, and a very large trad climbing rack.
