Product Description
Computers can replicate most of the patterns and images we want to render, but there’s always a gap between what you can draw with your hand and what you can realize in Photoshop. To give yourself a wider pallete to work with, hook your computer up to a Graphics Drawing Tablet and digitalize your doodles with the screen and stylus combination Read More
It does the job. It was my first drawing tablet and it served it's job. However, I found the lack of proper software very annoying - I wish you could remap the keys as you wanted. Additionally, if you have a dual monitor setup - this will only work on your primary monitor (with no way to re-assign it). Moreover, the main thing really putting this down was that there is no tilt detection.
THAT BEING SAID. this was only around $25, at that price, it was very worth it. But if you have a bit more cash to spend, I'd look at XPen, Huawei, or Wacom tablets.
The tablet works just fine for drawing. The pen feels nice, the surface is big enough for basic work. The biggest downfall however is the drivers. I would consider myself tech savvy and it took me some trying to get everything up and running and I don't think I've unlocked all the features. There is no program that you could easily set everything up with, I would recommend as long as you are prepared to tinker with it or at least know what you are getting. The price wasn't bad when I bought it so I'm not too disappointed since I wasn't expecting a lot,
I bought this as a gift, so not much can be said by me, though the lack of drivers for it on the manufacturer website makes a disk drive a must have if you intend on using it at all because it does have the included disc to use it with.
Not a great deal and not what was promised. The tablet and pen function perfectly fine but the fact that the drivers that add all of the promised features doesn't work (on Mac OS X Yosemite) is a significant oversight on Massdrop's behalf. It's a cheaper option, which I'm fine with but I feel like I got conned and I'm basically stuck with a slightly better tablet than the my old Graphire3 from Wacom.
If you have Windows 10, DO NOT BUY THIS. The drivers shipped on the CD do not work with Windows 10. The links in the discussion for drivers are all dead. This device is currently a paperweight for anyone with Windows 10.
This is a great tablet for me. I can't draw well on pencil and paper but this along with good drawing programs (Krita and the like) allow me to draw better than I ever have. 10/10
