Found out these just completed a successful campaign run on IndieGogo at a similar price (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/harmonicdyne-helios-dynamic-headphone#/). Looks like they got some positive reviews from guys like Zeos as well. Interesting set of cans.

My experience has been mixed. The things that are hyped are never half as good as you are expecting. The Mr. Speakers hype is one example. Also the Turtle Beach Elite Atlas, Vokyl Erupt, Thie Audio Phantom and.... these are all headphones that we’re hyped and sucked. But I think it’s pretty obvious that is because someone paid for the hyping of the product. Reviews that seem genuine are ones like the Radsone ES100, he have it a good review and it is a good product. These are issues with most remote channels once they realize how much they can make shilling product.

Terp_and_timeI couldn't agree more about the Mr Speakers hype. I bought a pair at $900 and what a waste of money. There is no way so much hype could be generated honestly. I actually feel ripped off, and will go out of my way to speak my mind about them.

badguygoodaudioreviews said they were not great sounding so I dunno if I’ll go with his.
another review I watched the guy said they were meh and that the 58x’s were better and more natural sounding on every aspect.
i back it but bailed out when they were offering 10 pads for 50 bucks. Says a lot about they’re quality if they can sells pads at 5 bucks a pop.
I don’t hold high hopes. They’re pretty but that’s about all that entices me.

I don’t doubt that. Something just had me off about them. If I’m wrong then I’m sure I’ll be able to still get a pair at the same cost later.

I didn't purchase the Helios on Drop. I'm no audiophile but I will say these are fast, transparent & punchy without using amp or equalization. The soundstage is not what you would call wide however the instrumentation is detailed giving a rich & silky sound. Love the build and comfortable stock pads. To MY ears they sound better than the hifiman Deva and my Sivga P II headphones. But what do I know? Be safe everyone.

petecamachoI didn't buy the Helios on Drop either. I got them used in like new condition for $70 and I think they're a good fun pair of headphones. As you noted, the bass in nice and punchy, the mids a recessed, but still clear, and the treble is smooth with plenty of energy and air for detail/micro detail.
Had I purchased these new at their retail price I would have been quite happy. I much prefer them to competitors from Sennheiser's HD5xx series and I actually prefer them to the DT990s from Beyer as well. I think the AKG K7xx series is better, but they are also completely different headphones in just about every way.
I like to buy budget headlhones for fun, potential modding, and to use in my shop or on the go where my ZMFs and DCAs and such aren't appropriate. The Helios are certainly a fun little set to have around and I'm enjoying them a lot.
Right now I have them plugged into the little stack I have out in my shop and the Helios sound great. I think they'll end up getting quite a bit of head time out here.

These headphones sound like high end headphones. And easily beats everything in the under 200$ price range, its price point. I tested these on Amazon Ultra HD songs with higher bitrate and frequency than CD quality. Their drivers are designed for 10Hz to 40kHz frequency. Maybe thats why they shined so brightly. Amp RNHP, DAC SU8. First the detail is fantastic. very detailed headphones. Competes with higher end headphones. geared towards bright but not painful. very good treble extension yet its not harsh.
These drivers remind me of Bio cellulose drivers. Mids are also very present and foward. Bass is very good and extended Sounds like a neutral headphone but with a slight V shape. Sounds like a very exciting headphone. Imaging is fantastic on these. The spatial recreation is also great. You can clearly hear instruments far to the left or right and clearly defined. Very nice soundstage. but not to wide. Detail on these are just amazing given the price. These headphones sound like they look. Cant recommend them more. Especially for the price

I just got my pair ordered off Indiegogo and initial impression with stock pads is that they are very hot in the treble. I happened to order the 5 pair of pads offered as an add-on so I did have a few options to tinker with. The 5 sets of pads were in separate clear bags and were labeled with numbers. The variety included a PU leather fenestrated, a couple fenestrated hybrid and a couple faux suede varieties. Out of the five sets I settled on the pads labeled 11 which were a faux suede material. They also had a thicker foam panel on the driver side of the pad which seems to tame the treble a bit. All others just had the usual thin opaque mesh. In fact these presented the best treble and bass profile of them all. I do find them pretty good and wonder if additional experimenting of materials would improve on them more. I did get a similar result on another set of pads by placing a layer of paper towel inside the pad. Anyway, they do seem very detailed but I suspect most will find these quite peaky in the treble and will want to swap pads or EQ the treble down some. Build quality seems decent for the price paid. I know some early review samples were not as impressive but I suspect the production units are a bit better. At least mine appears to be. I'm gonna give them some more listening and run-in time to see if my experience changes.

CyberthingyI own these as well and am a happy customer. I agree that the treble felt very hot to me at first, though I've gotten used to it and I'm sure breakin-has helped over the last few weeks as well. I ordered the 5-pad set like you but had an order mixup so they didn't arrive with my headphones. When those show up I'll be sure to post here again. But I found that pairing these with a new amp I've had my eye on for a while -- the iFi Zen Dac -- has introduced some warmth and mids emphasis that is a great paring with these. I get some of that warmth back with sacrificing the great sparkle of the highs. Overall, I'm super happy with my pair. Looking forward to tweaking more with the pads.

SemiDesperadoAn update: I ended up finding a great new set of pads in the pack that Linsole sent me -- I think the thicker the better with these to help the soundstage and reduce the treble even further. Avoid perforated pads though, those only made the treble worse. I'm also now running these balanced from my Zen DAC and WOW ... that helped bring clarity to the bass and mids even more than before. Could not be happier, I'm in audio heaven!

I have backed them on Indiegogo with number #1 and shipping is on May 2020, but here on Drop they will ship them earlier on April for the same price? Seriously? xD

Bought these in the Spring via Indigogo and initially wasn't that impressed with them but after much listening I prefer them over every headphone I own except for the Focal Elex. Certainly sound better than the HD 58X Jubilees I bought here. Crisp, clean, not fatiguing and very comfortable.
