Domestic US airlines are mostly 45 linear inches: 9 inches x 14 inches x 22 inches (22 cm x 35 cm x 56 cm) International are generally smaller but vary and often are more concerned with Weight. So, it will be close. If you don't fill it you might be able to get away with stuffing it in the carry on checker... Edit: I usually go here and check by airline when I go outside of 'Merica
