Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. I will post some comparison pictures later, and possibly more sound impressions if I am satisfied that I've come to any conclusions.
Thus far, this seems like quite a good headphone amp. Especially at the Massdrop rate, modest as the discount is.
That said, if the Lyr 3 lives up to its billing as an improved version of the Vali 2, then I'd probably have that over the GLite mk2. Though I enjoyed my time with it, the GLite just didn't have enough grunt in the lows for my taste. I'd venture that may have something to do with the power supply, but that's pure speculation.
It is rumored that HeadAmp may introduce a power supply in a separate chassis for use with the GLite mk2. Something to consider. But HeadAmp's product development cycles are quite lengthy, if the past is any guide.
