Is it a one time inflation or is it reusable like a parachute and you just get a new Co2 cartridge each time?

Chewie87Searching around online, I've found you can reuse it up to 6 times before it needs to be reinspected by Helite. So if you take a small fall and it doesn't damage the air pockets, you should be good to use it again without any issues. The cartridges are about $20-30 for a replacement.

PiratoI think if it's been used once, like a helmet, it's already done it's job. To be honest I wouldn't use this after 2-3 "events". $500 get a new one!! What's your body worth to you?
The fact that you can use it 5-6x is nice though, you can always sell it used to someone who can't afford the full fledge.

andrewebay1Guys who bin their bikes at the track reuse these regularly without issue after serious incidents. They're designed to be reused so long as the bags are still intact.

Yes, you can use your vest over and over and over again. We do recommend that with your 5th or 6th accident that you may want to have it inspected for damage etc, but we have demo vests and jackets which have been deployed nearly a thousand times and it's still 100% functional each time!
After a deployment you need only to replace the spent cartridge with a fresh one and you're good to go!
