What is SpaceFN and why you should give it a try
The SpaceFN concept - setting up your space key as a layer switch when held - is probably one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby. Let me explain how it works. My SpaceFN article on kbd.news made some rounds recently - quite surprisingly given the age of this concept. This piece you're reading is a condensed version of the full post. If you're left with unanswered questions, you'll most likely find the info you're looking for in the original write-up. On my imaginary top list of the most useful keyboard features, tweaks and hacks, SpaceFN would deserve a podium finish for sure. But what makes it so special? In short: SpaceFN is easy to implement, easy to learn, costs nothing, can be used with any keyboard, and can improve your productivity instantly. I will list its benefits below, but can state right at this point that the SpaceFN concept, setting up your space key as a layer switch when held, is clearly one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby....

We had a chance to go through our inventory of left-handed PCBs and there were many units that were mislabeled by our supplier. We are now checking through our inventory of right-handed PCBs to ensure there are no contamination there either.
We expect all checking to be completed by next week and shipping to be completed by Friday 9/29. However, this is contigent on us having sufficient parts after checking through the inventory.
Currently, we appear to have more right-handed PCBs than left. We are hoping our check on the integrity of the left-handed inventory will balance this.
Rest assured our aim is to have everyone taken care of, including those that have received duplicate PCBs. Note that a new production run of PCBs would take some time, but if people are comfortable with waiting, that will be one of the options.
If we need extra PCBs made, it should be done asap....it's simple math once the inventory is check is done. We shouldn't have to wait until after they all ship out to get the order for more if needed.
How many PCBs are left vs. how many need to be shipped seems like a very simple question that could be answered now that the inventory is complete.
Even if you need to purchase new boards, that shouldn't take more than a call to the vendor and then a post here to set everything straight.
