Excellent Value
For 100 bucks this watch is hard to beat. Its a great size, and will fit almost any wrist, as its not so small as to be only appeal to people with an appreciation for a vintage look. The solid Japanese movement means it should hold up to 5+ years of occasional use well and its shockingly quiet. I opted for the black dial silver stainless version and think it looks great with no disernable defects in craftmanship except some light scratch marks on the movement. The strap is a bit of a weak point though as its not comfortable amd a bit stiff out of the box but at 100 USD what can you expect. The box and presentation were better than some $300+ dollar watches I have purchased. Overall the only thing I am upset about is the 12 numeral at the top of the dial. Its not super apparent in pictures unless you really think about it but the beveled edges on the 1 in the 12 tend to make it look like the arabics are two different fonts in most lighting conditions as the 1 appears exceptionally thin. Not enough to knock off a star just something I think looks a bit odd.

Great Value!
The Box already gave me great impression! Wooden, great packaging, and even metal warranty card included! Watch itself is right size (not too big), and has open movement display back! Great starting watch for mechanical watches hobby

Great value but there are some issues
Fits really well on my 7.5 in wrist. It's very comfortable and keeps good time. It's a very handsome watch. I've had it only a few weeks and have been wearing it nearly every day. The steel case looks great, but not surprisingly the mineral crystal already has two small gouges on it. I got the black dial. Its a bit hard to read since it also catches reflections easily. The watch band is pretty low quality and the deployment clasp is more of a pain to put on then it is a convenience.

Can't read it
The crystal is domed and reflective. The dial is dark grey. The hands are very thin. There is no lume. When I check the time, at least half the time glare obscures the hands or the room is too dark to see them. It's a nice watch. Just don't use it to tell time.

Nice watch, reasonably sized
I always wanted an Ingersoll watch, mostly because of the brand's history. I like its minimalist and classic desing, but I mostly enjoy its smaller size. Most of Ingersoll's watches are way too big for my taste. At 40mm, its perfect for my wrist. On the downside, the band is quite stiff and I'll change it in the future for something more comfortable.

It's not terrible
Build quality is pretty good. The gray dial with polished hands is a bit hard to read. Biggest problem is that it doesn't self-wind very reliably. Watching the rotor, any movement sets the rotor spinning like crazy in the non-wind direction, and tilting it slowly one way and then the other, it really doesn't seem to want to turn in the winding direction at all. (contrary to many internet reviews, I can't hear the rotor at all, without holding it up to my ear.) I hand wound it, wore it for a day and then wore it to bed. When I woke up it had stopped. I don't thrash around while I sleep (I think) but I've never had an automatic watch stop in the middle of the night. It hand-winds, but the crown is tiny, hard to use and annoying. I might open it up, remove the rotor, and replace the crown with a bigger one. The leather band with deployant clasp is a PIA to adjust, and a little hard to get on when adjusted. Some cheap watches are fun to wear, reliable, easy to read; this isn't one of those. At $99 I don't feel cheated, but I wouldn't recommend the Ingersoll to a friend. The box is really nice though.

Favorable - definitely worth a wear
Switched up the band with a spare I had. I like it better. Still on the hunt for an even better band to give this watch a little 'pop'

It is nice...
However, the band is not a thick and hearty as I thought!
