Loved the Horween strap; so I got a watch attached to it!! I know, I do not want to buy anything from China if possible (We Aussies are not their best friends at present, and we don't like being bullied!). But at least the strap is from the U.S. And I must admit my greed is probably a little strong for my principles on this one. It is a good looking watch,I like the retro/vintage undertones, and a little bit, very little, Omega original moon watch IMO, at a glance and without my glasses! And what a deal $79 usd. Really just couldn't find the $1000 usd. to buy the Oris gmt!!! If I don't like it I will just sell it on: never lost on an Ingersoll bought from this site. Can't find out where the movement is from though!!

Ray you have a point , but right now the trade war we have with China, and the way they are operating on Aussie soil is out of control. Sure it is not the regular "Joe"citizens but the Chinese government and their agents . I still buy some Chinese goods; it is hard not too. As they have systematically infiltrated almost every part of manufacture over the last twenty years or so. What they are doing in Hong kong is what that government wants to do to the rest of us. Every day there is another trade dispute with them. Anyway , we digress to politics ,which has no place here,so I apologise for introducing the point.

Cmon now @RayF , it’s nothing against the common man. I prefer both my cars and women to be Asian. I, however, have eliminated any money I spend that went to China after watching the events of 2020. Took some time to trace and replace all those items, as the world has sent their manufacturing there for years, but it wasn’t too difficult and my cost to do so was a roughly 6% increase in my monthly budget. Well worth it for me, perhaps not for others. Its not as if if I still don’t have Chinese-sourced items, but as those items wear and and need to be replaced, they will be replaced with non-chinese items. I suspect over a multi-year period that it will actually lower my expenses. They say your most powerful way to express your opinion is voting. It’s not. It’s your wallet. Since we exist in a society where we all exchange our time for some form of currency and time is the only thing we can never purchase more of (for now, maybe the cyborg matrix bodies are right around the corner), I refuse to spend any of my resources on certain countries, groups, and companies. Life’s not fair and neither am I. How anyone else chooses to spend their resources is totally up to them.

Usually quartz movements are lighter compared to automatics... You should be good!

BobrazThat's what I thought, I have another budget watch from Geckota a C-03 which is about the same size,it is quite heavy running a NH35 seiko auto, like it too much to discard at the moment, but I didn't really want another heavy watch the same. The Geckota is much like the Zelos GMT Horizons in stature but quite a lot cheaper, and very high standard of finish.

I was about to say I don’t hate it, and then I saw the 16mm thickness for a quartz watch. I have 4 automatic chronographs (1 with the same diving bezel and an ETA Lagrange movement which is a larger 7750) and none of them are thicker than 15mm.

I am not sure who the Ingersoll salesperson is, but they deserve a bonus this year. Drop should be the sole authorized dealer.
