How much are the YU5's normally like on amazon? Currently there's only one seller on amazon and they priced it at $329 but i think they have a monopoly on the price atm. Does anyone know what prices they often see the YU5's go on amazon? I want the matte black but it's not available in this drop.
Also I've read from kantoliving that these speakers don't automatically turn on from standby mode. So I have to press a button every time I listen to something, take a break for 10 minutes, and want to listen to something again? That seems......... extremely annoying. Did kanto make any changes to the standby system on the YU4's and YU6's?

Spudinskethe auto off function is identical to the YUMI's. 1 hour then off. no auto on from standby. the YU4 and YU6 have the same auto off function as well but do automatically power up from standby.

GregotavAlright YU6's for me then, I wouldn't be able to stand having to turn them on all the time. Thanks for the info! Wish this was more readily available on their site

SpudinskeI completely agree that it can get annoying but since I use my YUMI speakers on my desk it isn't that big of an inconvenience but if I were to use them as intended it would get old quick. let me know how you like the YU6s, I was planning to get a pair for the living room.

GregotavAh I like to completely automate everything in my house so having to manually turn things on would go against the theme. And sure and I plan on using them on my desk as well. I'm crossing my fingers for no audible hiss when they're placed at each end of a 30"x70" desk. Ill have them hooked up to a mecca origin+

KimBro-SliceYes but I sometimes write code for an hour or two, then take a break and go on youtube and repeat. I would much rather the speakers automatically turn on.

SpudinskeYU4 and YU6 have auto power up. Play music and the speakers will wake up within about 1 second.

SpudinskeWith regard to the auto-on from standby, I have YU5s from the previous drop. When I turn of the source, they eventually go into standby. When I turn the source on, they go back to active. I don't touch the YU5s or the remote.

rayschoepferHmm interesting, i already bought the yu6 though and it's arriving today
So it came in and unfortunately I'm still getting audible hiss when sitting at my desk with each speaker at the end of a 6 foot wide table. However I believe it must be something with my house/neighborhood since I tried some jbl LSR305 and they have hissing too. I also have a cyberpower UPS and have tried live and battery power. Both speakers hiss no matter if they're connected to an audio source or not. Going to try ferrite cores and plugging them in in another neighborhood
