No amount of endless plugging in and unplugging is working. I have no clue if mine is broken or not but shipping it back to America really isn't an option either. Brilliant.

ChrisWolffDoes Windows tell you about a not working USB Device? If so, just force install the Driver for a USB-Device. Worked for me.
I only had to do this, when plugging it in with another USB Cable

ChrisWolffI'm german, so for me it's called "USB-Verbundgerät"
Just watch your device manager, and look what driver another keyboard uses. That's what I did
