Why there is a warning: Cancer and reproductive harm? Shouldn't touch the cord too much? :D

hushshIt’s a California thing, the same label is on, like, everything there, including entire buildings.

hushshIf you're still alive, I'd be careful if you burn the ends of the cord after cutting it.

JaytYeah, California's cancer warning is more of a political thing then a useful thing. The list is directly controlled by the governor and the board of "researchers" the governor selects don't actually have to be medically qualified, under the definition the labeling law has %90 of the states tap water qualifies to carry a cancer warning but the governor said no.

SchuylerReally? It's there because the people VOTED for it to be there. Guess the good folks where you live would rather someone else decide whether or not they should know?

RayFI'd rather the warning be accurate and useful, not something a political entity can say, "I don't like how that looks so I'm not going to put it in the list." Or say, "the public opinion is that this is terrible so I have to put it on the list even though only 1 of these 20 studies says it might have a chance of increasing risks." Acting with less then half the information is how things like anti-GMO and antivaccination movements got started.

SchuylerI suggest you read up a bit on the The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (full name of Prop 65 as approved by 63% of California voters), and how the law is actually applied before entertaining us with your best Tucker Carlson impersonation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1986_California_Proposition_65 You don't have to of course--you can continue sounding like an uninformed, fox-watching, conspiracy hoax believing, whack-job who lines his beanie cap with two layers of heavy-duty Reynolds Wrap (just to be sure) --that's your choice. But if you really feel strongly about your point, might I suggest quick trip to Michigan and a big frosty mug of Flint drinking water? Mmm...doesn't that sound refreshing?!
