Since I own 2 Vali and 3 Odin, all of them clamp a lot, I'd like to share a little trick how I deal with them.
1) Bend the headband. This always work. However, to make it easier you have to remove the head strap first. Simply unscrew it, then pull the headband apart so they become less clamp. Then put the head strap back.
2) Adjust the headphones while on your head. Loosen the adjustment knob, put it on your head, make sure it loose enough (more loose than you'd wear it normally). Then tighten back the knobs. The tightened knobs will increase the clamp more than when you make adjustment while they loosen.
They are all reasonably comfortable (given their weights) after proper adjustment. Hope this help.
rawitatFYI, I just did the headband bending trick. Very carefully. And man, that's a huge improvement. I really do love the sound of these cans. Unlike anything else I own, in a good way. Honestly can't think of anything they're lacking in. In fact, they have me looking forward to trying more from Kennerton in the future.
