The left glove fits perfectly for me, but the right glove feels like its a size too small. My thumb gets sore & it doesnt have a lot of room to move due to restrictions from the tight leather.
@KentWang Can you also provide some finger lengths for better sizing? I am about 8 inch around my knuckle but I usually wear 7.5 gloves. My middle finger is around 8cm (3.15 inches) and I really don't like gloves with loose fingers.
Is it fresh deer, or rendering plant deer?
Man, I had no idea people used deer wangs to make gloves. Assuming these are one size fits all; you just need to tickle each finger until it’s long enough.
@KentWang I just measured my hand as instructed on the overview page, I measure out to 7 3/4, do you think the 7.5 will fit me? I do want a very snug/slimline glove.

My 7.5 does not fit on my right hand but it fits on my left without issue. I emailed the listed email address but I have not received any kind of response.

Just checking back in -- did you receive a response from our customer service email?

I got them online at Backcountry, but just checked, they only have the unlined ones now, as it gets colder the lined Thinsulate ones sell quickly. As usual, if you get an additional 15% off for getting on the mailing list. https://www.backcountry.com/red-wing-heritage-buckskin-gloves?s=a

Good deal and probably warmer. But I'm in it for the cashmere lining.
Is it true that if these gloves don’t fit, you must acquit?
Wish MD offered the bespoke option for +$25. Been eyeing these or a pair from Chester Jefferies for a couple seasons now.

I've also been thinking about getting a pair from Chester Jeffries for several years now, but have been too lazy to research how I would want the gloves made. I may cave and just get these.

I'd suggest against caving in, on the basis that you can't really break in gloves in the same way you canot footwear and other clothes - you ideally want them to fit on the day of purchase.
Looking for nice leather gloves for the winter. Main use would be while driving, and general wear outside. It gets well below freezing at night where I live, would they be sufficient for this?
Adrian1616
Generally, this type of glove is nice for driving in the cold morning or walking on your commute. Think of it as a windbreaker for your hand. It won't keep you warm so much as shield you from the cold a bit and look nice. It is not sufficient for things like shoveling or skiing or other physical activity where your hand might come in contact with snow.
In the other cashmere-lined leather gloves I've had, the lining always wears through on the fingers that I use most often (usually right index first and then left thumb for me). I've never had a Kent Wang glove so I can't comment on this particular glove, just other gloves of this type.
JamMastaJew
Thanks, sounds like it would be sufficient for what I need
any update on the shipping delay?
ribosradagast
Of course it ships out the day I ask
Realized that I am only saving $6 since I get taxed and can get a student discount directly. Realizing a 7.5 black.
Really wanted these but last time I dropped I got charged and refunded for some reason that I've never been informed about and lost 20 bucks in bank fees. Seems with the low stock that they couldn't cover their order.
MD support never cared to answer my e-mail either. They use the customer's money to order so not like they care.
Not to mention my size is sold out. Yawn.
I'm worried that the size I picked might be too big or too small for me. If it arrived and it wasn't the best fit, how does the exchange policy work for this @KentWang
ZALHERA
Just email us at sales@kentwang.com to arrange an exchange
I'm in for a pair, been eyeing these up all winter but the price held me back
I'm normally a size XL in gloves (for baseball, football, and cycling) and my hands only measured 8.5, which surprised me to see that value right in the smack dab middle of the sizes they're offering. There must be some guys out there with freaking enormous hands

They're sold out of the black 9.5. Of freaking course
ribosradagast
8.5 is laughably too small, emailing sales@kentwang.com now
I predict the black will sell out really quickly and there will only be brown left.
How many requests do we need to activate this drop back again?

I guess stock wasn't as limited :P

We managed to produce a small batch earlier than expected.
Wish they had grown up sizes here at massdrop

Yes, unless I'm measuring incorrectly. Around. Knuckle right?
Zac_Lee
Yes. Full sizing instructions: " To determine your glove size, measure the circumference of your hand, excluding the thumb. Measure your hand at its widest point in inches, which is usually around the knuckle. If you find yourself between sizes, we recommend sizing up. "
We can also make bespoke gloves based on a scan of your hand, but this has to be ordered from our website, and is not available through Massdrop.
Anyone tried this glove in -10 Celsius? Does the the touch feature REALLY work? And finally, is the touch treatment permanent or it will fade?
dream3
In developing these gloves we tested several highly reviewed gloves, which are mostly knit, and we found that our leather works the best. It registers every tap and swipe while all the knit gloves will only register about 80% at best—which isn't terrible but can be frustrating.
Our treatment is applied using nanotechnology at the tannery and will not fade. If they do, contact us and we'll send you a replacement. We stand by all our products.
I haven't tried -10 C myself. It depends on how long you'll be outside. If you're an urban type walking from building to subway to a car, where you'll be outside for 20 mins at a stretch, I'm sure it'll be fine. If you're going hunting for hours at a time, I don't think there are any gloves that'll keep you warm.
I would join, by unfortunately my size went out of stock. I sent an email.
@KentWang Hey Kent, I love these gloves! Quick question: what temperatures are they each rated for?
PraxisCat
That's a tough question to answer as it depends on how long you'll be outside, how sensitive you are to the cold, etc. This week I've been in London and Berlin and it's been around 32 F / 0 C and walking around the city, my hands have managed to stay toasty.
Any more sizing info for the 7.5W glove? Usually my fingers are too short for most gloves.

So apparently you do NOT do exchanges if the size don't fit.
Anzial
We'd be happy to assist you with an exchange! Shoot us a message at sales@kentwang.com and we'll take care of it for you right away. (Sorry if you're currently waiting for a reply from us--we're still catching up from a tiny bit from the holiday rush!)
Got my gloves today and I must remember my hand size for the future!A half size too small gah!
Very happy with the quality, and everyone is gawking at my ability to use my phone through the gloves :D
It was made in UK and I have to pay import tax (haha!) but hey ho, still less expensive than buying it here!

how is the glove with the touchscreen? Is it gimmicky or works smoothly?
dream3
It is good!
But don't expect pinpoint accuracy, it works well for unlocking the screen, selecting an app etc. You would need almost like a second skin to get the accuracy of your naked finger
Got my gloves today and they're incredibe!
Shipped already? Color me surprised.
McDoogle
Wore them two days now. The liner is just as soft as I'd hoped and they fit & look pretty good.
if i didn't live in Hawaii I'd be buying these right now. I do have a hunting trip coming up though....and maybe wearing deer while hunting deer is a benefit :)

Deer sees gloves, recognizes his cousin jeff, runs towards you seeking revenge. Easy target. Now you have matching boots.
If my formal attires and shoes are all black (sometimes white), should I go for the brown or the black gloves? Only my casual clothes are bright-colored.
KhoiN
My gut feeling says that black will be better for you.
KentWang
I see, thank you.
So if I'm measuring 7.75 inches, should I size up to an 8.5 or go with 7.5? Seems like a size 8 would be best if they had it.
mrequalsmc
When in between sizes, size up, even if you're only 0.25" larger than 7.5. We can exchange if the size doesn't work for you. If that's the case, just contact us directly at sales@kentwang.com; not through Massdrop.
these look like some oj gloves
Shouldn't these be shaped like little hooves?
It's 2017: Image shows a person holding a smart phone, clearly not answering a call, but using it as a calculator.

derp - I didn't notice that.

Also, FWIW, that's Square Cash, not a calculator - very much 2017 :P
