Kershaw’s Grid sports a tactical two-toned look, with a black-oxide-coated blade and a sleek, gray handle. Made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, the blade is easy to sharpen and resistant to corrosion Read More
Blade is a bit long for EDC. Illegal in certain jurisdictions. A blade just under 3 inches would be more portable and just as functional for the tasks I need a knife for.
Kershaw has some great knives and this one is one of them. It feels smooth in your hand and comes out great. A nice blade and as all of their knives it's razor sharp. They are definitely the ones to go to for a good knife without breaking the budget!!!
That’s total bull, I feel bad for the people living in an area where knives are so controlled. Those legislators would have a heart attack in America. Glad to see someone helping out others in the community with information, though.
This knife is perfect for EDC. Utility (wood whittling, skinning animals) is a bit less than stellar due to blade shape, however, the speedsafe deployment and blade length make it ideal for protection purposes and quick usage for cutting whatever needs cut. The locking mechanism is smooth and safe. The knife is very thin and will probably be about the same size or less than your wallet. The weight of the blade is far less than you would think for a blade this long. The color and sleekness have a classy yet modern gentleman's feel to it. Of the knives coming out in 2016, you're 100% not going to find a better deal for something similar (assuming you order through massdrop).
I'm just really stoked about this knife. I apologize if this review seems disingenuous, but there's no way for me to thwart my enthusiasm after experiencing how good this blade is. And just to be clear, I've only owned 6 different knives, so my overall knowledge isn't too much.
Did anyone else's blade ship used? Mine had signs of wear on the scales and thumb stud(?). Also the blade looked as though someone attempted to resharpen it.
JLockIve been messing with mine since last night. When I opened it, it was dark and I only really got to look at the blade this morning. I did notice on the flipper, it looked like there was some wear and tear on it. More than what I could've done in a few hours. Beyond that, the knife looked new.
