Will you ship to Poland? I am asking because Poland is not on the list [1] but other shops do deliver knives via couriers. [1] https://helpdesk.massdrop.com/hc/en-us/articles/216782468-Can-Massdrop-ship-knives-internationally-

I was just about to pull the trigger on this one and noticed it was tip down carry. My goodness. What is anyone else's thoughts here on that? For me it takes a second extra to open it as i have to flip it over or turn it around. Is it that important? For EDCing it certainly is to me.

I've carried the smaller sibling "chive" for years as my always in pocket, pocket knife.

This is one Kershaw that I have never been led to buy. It's larger cousin, the Leek, is always appeal to me. I have several. Adding an unidentified Damascus doesn't do it for me. For about the same amount of money you can get the Leek with carbon fiber and cpm154. Choose wisely.
14themoneyThe Damascus is produced by Alabama Damascus. Very reputable and quality steel. I had on of their Skylines and it was the sharpest knife I had for a long time.

stroker_78_camaroI am aware of Alabama Damascus. I don't have any but all reports are favorable. I just picked up the Endura in SG2. I would have gotten the AD 15 but it disappeared in an hour. I'll put the Skyline on the list. 👍

Maybe it's just me but recurve blades are a real hassle to sharpen. 2.5 inches is just a bit too small for my taste.

Who ever is in charge of getting these knife specs together has been dropping the ball at the customer's expense. We should not have to do ALL the research that's their job and the number of quality/fair priced drops has been slipping steadily. Come on MassDrop let's get your s_it together and put out Better colabs like the Laconico Keen, That's the price range and Quality of build you should be striving for and PLEASE don't put crap like the Rough Rider Thin Man on MassDrop again.

received mine a week ago, and happy, mostly. I have carried the exact same knife for years, but without the damascus blade, so I knew mostly what to expect. One thing : the sliding opener lock arrived broken. I just swapped the one from my previous one, but contacted Kershaw for a replacement. They're fairly good about sending them, but it's a weak point in the design, IMO.

I have a lot of respect for Kershaw but sure wish they would do something more elegant than a friction shim for the blade lock. It's just too home workshop.

Yea also description says aluminum handle but its stainless i believe? This isnt the first drop ive noticed the specs are off. The Kershaw natrix copper drop has the blade size and knife sizes way off and listed at regular natrix specs when the copper is a considerably smaller knife. I have one so its definitely not a 3-1/4" blade more like 2.75". I check it out at bladehq for quick price check, and specs, descriptions etc to verify before i join any knife drops.

CdoyleYes, bladehq show the same frame lock pictures, but describe it as liner lock. They also list the handle as aluminum and 'frame/liner' as stainless steel. A bit on the careless side. Discussion on Amazon, some insist it is frame lock. Sigh...

lugerWay late to the game on this one, but I was browsing the discussion on a new drop...anyway, regarding the lock on the mini Natrices, copper or otherwise, the design is called a "sub-frame lock", a made up term by Kai, which refers to a lock bar that's a separate piece (and differential, which is the motivating factor for the design) but attached to the frame rather than a separate liner. Mechanically, it looks and works the same as a frame lock, but obviously isn't quite as solid since it isn't integral to the frame, as in the granddaddy of framelocks, the Reeve Integral Lock and its many descendants. As mentioned, Kershaw uses the "sub-frame" design on the minis because one model has a copper frame, and the other (that I have and know of, there could be more) is made of G10--no so good for standing up to the compression stress w/o deforming, esp the copper. So they just add in a steel lockbar rather than a liner, which is a good choice at least aesthetically, and I would assume structurally too. The mirror image converse is Microtech's "integral liner lock", I think it's called? The one on their Socom Elite models; it's a piece of steel that's nested into a groove inside the handle, like the lock bar on a liner lock, except there's no liner, just that lock bar affixed to the frame.

Description says liner lock, pictures show frame lock. Which is it?

lugerI know it's too late for the drop, but I just got mine, and it matches the picture - frame lock.
