The Kershaw Vedder’s handle looks like something you might find on the surface of the moon. Pair that with the titanium-carbo-nitride-coated wharncliffe blade and you’ve got a dark look that’s sure to turn heads. 8Cr13MoV stainless steel is used for the blade, which is easy to sharpen and corrosion resistant—especially so with the coating. Deployment wise, the knife opens rapidly thanks to Kershaw’s signature SpeedSafe opening system. The cratered handle is composed of rugged G-10, which also helps keep weight on the folder down. Machined holes on both sides of the scales allow you to carry the knife on the right or left side—not to mention it’s a deep-carry clip for subtlety’s sake.
