I kinda wish I could just order the BT 4.0 controller. I've seen references to the Nordic nRF51822, but I have no idea how to use it. Google is being a naggy salesman right now, trying to sell me bluetooth keyboards, and not telling me about the firmware or controllers. Years ago, I got a nifty little ALPS Amber keyboard from a dead Apple IIc. I want to bring that puppy to life! Honestly, I'd even consider the brute force method... gut a keyboard like this and then hand wire the matrix back together. Messy, tons of work... but if it comes down to it...
