Mine was pretty good
I actually like mine. The detent is stiff, as mentioned. It makes it fire out like a rocket and the double thumb studs assist with your purchase for deployment. Ergos are decent but the blade cuts like a laser...especially after a few passes on a Wicked Edge.

It’s ok, but nothing spectacular. Bought it because I liked the blade shape, like Kizer in general, was suffering from “flipper fatigue” at the time, and mainly because of the price, which was around $90 if memory serves me right. But, only going on the 3 measly pictures, and the specs that I obviously didn’t read thoroughly, I was under the assumption that it would be a little more “substantial”. That’s to say, it’s very thin. Both the blade(which is good in my book) and the handle. Thin is usually good, but in this case, I would have liked this knife a whole lot better if the handle scales were thicker adding some girth. Also, the detent was INCREDIBLY stiff OOTB. After fighting through a very sore thumb for a few days of opening and closing it has gotten somewhat better, but still so stiff that no “non-knife person” would be able to budge it. Still hurts my thumb and mine is callused from fiddling with knives. The pros are the blade. It gets SOOO THIN behind the edge and the tip is literally “needle-like”. So it’s a insanely good slicer. And it’s relatively light. But the cons far outweigh the pros on this one to me, so I will be putting it up for sell soon, so I can try something else. Would’ve been worth the money with a softer detent, but if they’re all like mine, it’s just a deal breaker.

I really like the look and feel of the knife, and it appears to be well built for the price point. I would have scored the knife higher if the thumbstud actually worked. As of now, opening the knife with one hand would require extraordinary thumb strength and/or a high pain tolerance.
