Based on knifemaker Matt Degnan’s custom MC design, the Kizer Guru is small enough to comfortably carry anywhere, but stout enough to take on most anything. The 3-inch S35VN blade—arguably the best commercial steel available—measures 3.5 millimeters thick for strength Read More
I was also thinking $140+ wasn't that awesome Kizer sale price. This model always seem to be in short supply at BladeHQ--who is running a great sale, btw, including on all Kizer and We--so desirability may have some effect, but even with the free beater which is fine, as far as it goes its too pricey. Plus, I neither need not want another cheap folder, ever; I'm to the point that Ive quit buying even brands like Kizer, much as I enjoy their collabs, because I just think "why did I spend $100 or $200 for another production piece that's only going to be starved for pocket time when I could have used that $ toward the next payment I owe Strider Knives, or Mike Vagnino, or Phillip De Leeuw, etc.?". The answer is because I want a new knife today, and the ones mentioned won't be paid off for months. But if im going to buy the fancy stuff, I have to be disciplined. It also means I have to be crazy about finding the bargain prices.
The quality of this knife is amazing. Plus the price just destroyed any competitors online. This blade in S35vn is going to make sending my Spyderco Native 5 I got in S30 back much easier. The packaging and extras you get also put spyderco, Benchmade, and Zero Tolerance to shame.
Rec’d my Guru yesterday. Exceptionally nice for the price — I'm very impressed.
These Kizer titanium flippers (I now have a few) are fantastic bargains.
Thx for finally getting this back and actually delivering this time!
I'm in.
Surprised to hear that many prefer Flipper to thumbstuds. I enjoy the feel and action when using thumbstuds. Either way, this is a great deal. Enjoy!
