Just got a order cancellation email from Dropbox this order 😔:
“It has been brought to our attention that the Klipsch KHC-6 In-Ceiling Loudspeakers you ordered have become back-ordered, and we do not know if more inventory will become available. As we are unable to guarantee that we will receive these, we have cancelled your order and issued a full refund”
khandfwHey, I know this is an old topic for you, but are you still looking for the khc-6? I believe I have 25 of them. I have to recount to make sure. But make an offer & I'll be glad to discuss it with you or anyone possibly interested.
khandfwAugust 12th, September whatever, who knows. All i get are generic responses when I try to contact them. Im about to reverse payment dont like being a interest free loan to anyone.
Do you all think these would be good in a living room with cathedral ceilings, I have 4 spots where speakers can go in the 2 front and 2 rear. The room isn’t exactly made for a great surround sound experience but maybe could make for 4 above sound for an ATMOS setup or just sound from above for music and normal TV?
jhumm22The mesh covers do have a foam baffle. I would think that would block a lot of moisture. Maybe if you’re using a good ceiling fan in the bathroom as well. It may be worth an email to Klipsch service though.
Joined. Less than $100 for a pair of Klipsche speakers. YES! These will go great with the rest of my Klipsche setup, now I need to upgrade my aging receiver to 7.something with ATMOS.
I'm going to ask a dumb question. My wife and I recently bought a house that has existing in-ceiling speakers. Assuming that they match in dimensions, could I simply run the existing wire to my receiver and call it day with these?
TheHeathenRagei would say yes if the housing isnt anything different than these, and if the bracket inside the wall also matches for installation, it should be plug and play! (with some eq of course :)
