I agree wholeheartedly. I have been an avid quilter for 52 yearsand I'm a purist I would rather see exclusively quilting in one site and other needlework home crafts on a separate site.

I wasn't able to find much about these needles, even on the Knitter's Pride site. From what I gleamed from Etsy reviews they are readily available as KnitPro needles (UK version of Knitter's Pride) but hard to find in the US, so I decided to check the KnitPro site and actually found a product page for them. http://www.knitpro.eu/Materialwise-size-Details.asp?id=143&Language=English
However, I still haven't been able to figure out if they are compatible with the Dreamz cables... I am assuming they are? Hopefully? Because Zing stuff seems pretty hard to find in the US, which I also assume is why the shipping is so high on these.
This does seem to be a good deal, as I haven't seen them lower than the MSRP anywhere else... although I only found them on a handful of sites. I am on the fence... I committed to join, but may cancel. I really wish I knew how these compared to Addi Turbo, which I love. I am not a fan of the sharp metal tip needles, although I have only used ChiaoGoo's sharp tip metal ones. I love the more finger friendly tips of the Addi Turbos, as well as the smoother finish on the Addi.
So if anyone can speak to these questions, please do!

The Zing Interchangeable Needles are a new product (atleast for KnitPro) and have only been available for a few months (in Australia). they are a great priced set (at under $100aud) and sell out quickly. I haven't seen individual tips, only sets at this stage. This is the current special edition set (my friend sells KnitPro in Australia).
In my opinion the tips are sharper that the Turbo but not as sharp as the Chiaogoo and Hiyahiya sharps. But the needle is not as slick as the Addi Turbos - it is aluminium and great for slippery yarns. This is a great entry level IC needle set and not really similar at all to the turbos.

These are wooden needles so would be different than the turbo nice for slippery yarns

The group's bulk order arrived earlier to our warehouse in New Jersey and many of the individual packages have already shipped back out. However, upon taking inventory of everything received, our team was made aware of a backorder affecting a small handful of units. Rest assured, we've reached back out to the vendor to resolve this hiccup and expect to have the remaining units in our warehouse by mid-December.
