There’s a knife for every need, a blade built specifically for every use, and hiking and backpacking are no different. Out in the woods, you’ll want a heavy duty edge that can handle big jobs, but it also needs to be lightweight and not take up too much space. Delivering the outdoorsman’s new best friend, the Landi Kinzua A2 Knife gears you up for the great outdoors. Every aspect of this knife is meticulously designed to last a lifetime, from the specific American made steel type, to the G10 handle that molds to your hand even during heavy use.
Starting with his popular PSK, John Landi spent time tinkering with different blade and handle combinations before landing on the Kinzua A2. The blade itself is made from A2 steel and is heat treated, cryogenically treated, triple tempered, and tested to a guaranteed Rc of 59-60. The Kinzua has excellent jimping and a full thumb ramp for better leverage during forceful use.The cutting edge measures 3.25 in and can easily carve through rope, rabbit, or whatever else you need to cut.
The blade ends in an G10 plastic handle, featuring ergonomic design and a lower guard for superior grip. Weighing in at a total of 6.7 oz including the kydex sheath, this knife is an ideal companion on backpacking trips where weight is a constant concern. Named after some of John Landi’s home woods, the Landi Kinzua A2 Knife will soon become as indispensable as your sleeping bag.
