All discussions of C4 aside, what’s interesting to me is the fact that the body of this device is made from a better grade of stainless steel than the knife blade. LOL.

Why the EOD and not the vanilla version? I'm not a Tier 1 operator, I don't need the crimp tool or whatever that is.

What?!?! No one else has extra C4 lying around ? I use it weekly (not to attract the Sheriff or state police), to get rid of bears, wolves, bobcats, raccoons, squirrels, coyotes and chipmunks riding horses. Let’s not forget the zombies and werewolves! They reek havoc on my chickens. Besides tanerite isn’t cutting it.

Massdrop should try and get the regular MUT next time. The MUT EOD has a spike for working with explosives. Most people don't need that. The pin punch on the regular MUT is far more useful. Though I guess you can always switch it out. Still the crimpers weaken the jaws if they're not something you use.

You got me there, I am not the"disarmer", I do make them though.
From a marketing standpoint Leatherman and Masdrop would probably have a better sale if they featured a different model.

It really depends on the manufacturer. They can only offer things with as much of a discount as they negotiate with the manufacturer. They also add a markup for themselves- they don't do this for free; it is a business, with investors. Therefore, sometimes the discounts aren't as much as you might think that they should/could be. But sometimes they are. Do your research and make your own decisions.
