I do not cook very often, and I found the Lekue Steam Case to be very easy to use and extremely easy to clean. I made the Lentils with Vegetables recipe from the cookbook. Prep time was indeed around 20 minutes, and the dish was fresh and flavorful. You could taste the freshness of the carrots, instead of them being overcooked. Added a little chevre on top as garnish and bread on the side, and plated it looked great and tasted even better! Threw the steam case in the dishwasher, and there was no staining of the materials. Would definitely recommend if you want an alternative way to steam fresh veggies and prepare dishes quickly without using all the water.

I was able to take the Lekue Steam Case out for a test drive and was thoroughly impressed. It's easy to use without compromising on the quality of the food prepared in it. First, let me preface this by saying I am by no means an expert chef. My go-to cooked meals, when I actually get around to cooking, usually fall into the quick and easy camp. I tried out the prosciutto wrapped asparagus recipe from the included cookbook. Total time from prep to table was about 10 minutes. The asparagus came out tasting fresh and flavorful, not soggy like your average microwaved veggies. The case is also dishwasher safe <3.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick and easy way to add veggies to any meal.
