ZettoYes the resolution is lacking, but you're getting a 144hz Ultrawide monitor with IPS Display and G-Sync. I'd consider it if the price was $150 lower.
solBLACKI don't understand consumers like you all. This exact same monitor can he had for at least $150 off this and I got an actual 4k , 34" LG for $641 shipped that is curved and Freesync. This is iist abullshit deal in every single way and I hope no one wastes their money so frivolously.
m0arpheusDoes your 4k monitor have a high refresh rate, because I know it doesn't. Freesync doesn't work for Nvidia cards so if you aren't team red then it's worthless. This LG is a pure gaming Ultrawide monitor. They can't do 1440p IPS at 144hz yet.
Show me the exact same monitor that's $150 less with the same specs? Provide a link please.
m0arpheusThat monitor doesn't have G-Sync. The spec list doesn't list hz so I'd guess it to only be 60hz. It's not even close to the same monitor.
If all you care for is a beautiful ultrawide display then that monitor is a way better deal, but if you want a gaming monitor then it's not.
TemperdsteelYeah that's great and all, but AMD isn't competing at the high end. If you want a high end card, your only choice is nVidia. And if you've got an nVidia card you either have G-sync or you have nothing. The only choice is if you want variable refresh or not.
