How much did this monitor go for when it dropped?

If you play an old game at 640x480, you can run this in a window, or full-screen. Most 1920x1080 monitors will support 640x480, but you will have black bars (letter boxing) on the sides. Now, a 3440x1440 monitor should be able to do 2560x1440 full-screen but with letterboxing on the sides. The LG cannot (I've verified in person), and the Acer supposedly cannot (haven't used, trusting those who did) either. So if you get a game that doesn't support Ultrawide and you need to run 16:9 with letterboxing, you can't run 2560x1440 on the Acer/LG, only the Samsung. On the Acer/LG, you're limited to 1920x1080.

Thanks for your response Medion. Very insightful. It's interesting that none of these have even approached 120Hz. Not that I'm doing anything at 120fps, but still even 90 seems difficult.
