Actually this will sent ATMOS over ARC to your reciever but does not support onboard ATMOS through the the built in speakers. I did research int it on AVS forum. And with a tv like this i would hope you plan on true surround setup.

HellsbladeIn my case i have a samsung k950 atmos soundbar. I'd like to know if the arc channel will passthrough atmos from Nvidia Shield TV, 4K BluRay player, pc with windows 10 and atmos update, and Xbox One S/X.
And also if it will pass atmos from internal apps (Vudu/Netflix), although I imagine it should do this part no problem.

jromankvccFrom what I have gathered from as it passes the info just does not decode it to the internal speakers. I recommend looking at AVS forums.
