Fedex delivered a door tag in a white sedan saying I wasn’t home. A call to Fedex assured a reattempt would be made that afternoon. An hour later the reattempt was supposedly made. I was in the front yard for the whole hour and no fedex truck entered the subdivision. Now I am out of town. Massdrop will not allow me to refuse the delivery, and will not refund. Time to call the bank and dispute the credit card charge. Time to quit Fedex Massdrop.
Time for me to stop buying grey market products from Massdrop.
Dr-DumasI contacted customer service and they told me the receipt was on my transaction page. They reminded me they registered me for the warranty, nothing I have to do. Thanks Massdrop
Does anyone know the width of the stand on the 77" model? I currently have the 65" and the stand is very close to the edges of my TV stand. I would like to jump up a size but don't want the base to go over the edges of my TV stand. Attached a picture to show what I'm referencing.
Could any of those who purchased/have this TV comment on a suitable, reasonably priced wall mount for it?
Due to the shape and the fact that majority of the bulk on this TV is on the bottom ⅓ of the device, I am looking for a mount that only extends up to the thickest portion of the TV (and not up above where the thin OLED panel is). Almost all wall mounts I've seen have large/long bars that extend above the electronics portion of this TV.
I like the unit from Vogel's, but $350 is too much, I think. Here's the link for the mount: https://www.vogels.com/en-us/oled-wall-mount?device=8137352
Thanks much.
joker927Do you know the measurement for the width of the TV stand base on your 77"? I posted a question about this in the thread but thought you might know because you have one.
Stoneman155The absolute minimum width of table needs to be 40.5 inches. There are little rubber feet under the ends of the stand at that outside width. Depth is around 11".
This TV in 65" is also available at Costco for $2399, but includes three years of free Square Trade warranty, two years of extended warranty from Costco, and another two years if you use your Costco credit card. That's seven years total warranty, which isn't bad... Plus, Costco deals with Square Trade if they aren't behaving.
I apologise for not being clear--it's $2449 plus seven years total warranty with your Costco card, which provides 2% cashback, so roughly 2400. Sorry about that, was keeping track of the "actual" prices in my head. :)
RedmumbaAh, makes sense. The extra warranty as you stated makes it a no brainer especially when these TV's are subjected to burn in. Thanks for the info!
I got this TV from last drop. There was no issue in the box but when I turned the TV on there was a white vertical line in the right side. I asked for a replacement of the unit. But CSR was of no help saying he was waiting to hear back from the vendor. I waited 5 days to hear back then I asked for refund. Still nothing done. Terrible service. Don't waste your money. I am waiting for my $5000 refund.
baseball550Surprised MD didn't refund you directly. I have had them refund my money back to my credit card twice now for broken MD products. But those were over a year ago...
