Not 100% on the nylon washers but I can always go out and buy some bronze ones.

awkI think he or she means, you probably don't want to with this knife. I watched the posted review, and he says that the reassembly of this knife is huge pain in the ars. The review even talks about switching out the Teflon washers, but complains about the frame's build

tlblakburneIf it's a pain to disassemble and clean, it is poorly designed.
Unless you just want to display it you are gonna need to clean it eventually.

MonTexI thought you might be referring to replacing teflon with metal washers, like maybe it wears down the aluminum frame material over time or something. I am wondering if it's a good idea to do that.
As for Nick I don't know why he is being so dramatic. He's a smart guy, he should be able to figure out a way to spread two pieces of metal apart.

awkYou still didn't pay attention to the built construction of the knife. I agree that Nick is a pretty smart enough of a fellow.

MonTexI just got the knife after I ordered it from the flash sale. I also had some washers I ordered waiting for me for when it got here. It took me about 10 minutes total to disassemble, clean, lube, and put in the new phosphour bronze washers. All with no fuss. Feels as smooth as the Small Inkosi I used to have but way more usable.

awknick could do it. But a lot of regular knife users might not be able to ,so its a warning for us not so great with our hands.
