I own this boot in tan. The size marked on the tongue is 10.5, compared to my Allen Edmonds ( Long Branch and Daltons ) are size 12. These are great boots and are built to a higher standard than my beloved AEs. This boot is considerably heavier than my AE boots. So if you prefer light weight boots , look elsewhere.

JZEEThanks for the info. If I'm a 9EE or 9.5E in Daltons, any idea what size I'd be in these?

JZEEHi, @JZEE Just curious how are your boots doing now. I am interested to know how well they handle the wet weather in fall and winter. Thanks.

ZZ_UPennHello, admittedly my Bedales are not my "all weather" boots. My AE Long Branch and Blundstones serve that purpose. The calf leather on the Bedales is just so nice, I'm pretty careful with them, although they are a darn tough boot. Sorry I couldn't offer you more help.

JZEEhanks. Good to know that the leather upper is of good quality to serve as dressier boots. I have AE's Sauk Drive and Vancouver for winter snowy days. I like Sauk Drive's soft Horween Dublin leather (photo below), and its color is great for the holidays now. I probably would have joined if the width offered in medium, so that the boots don't look as bulky.
