already bought it for much less and even today it's cheaper on chinese sites. I want to be a massdrop supporter, but why aren't you trying to motivate me too? as for the flashlight, it's excellent and has become my EDC one since its arrival. colour is really neutral, levels are in correct order and it really memorizes the last level of intensity. it's beautiful, compact and even bright enough for almost everything I've ever used flashlights for. with spare batteries it's useful for hiking/camping too. it can't melt black plastic.

you can by 1000mah batteries for it on orbtronic.com. they really have the claimed capacity. orbtronic and keeppower are best choices AFAIK
Thanks for sharing! Gotta say..I love aliexp. Plus it never has ridiculous shipping costs & takes less time to arrive in AUS than MD ;)
No neutral, no dice.....
Can get for around 20% cheaper elsewhere.
Specs say neutral white is a choice. When selecting tint choice only "Cold White" is offered. What's up Massdrop? I have this flashlight in neutral tint and it is very nice.
No warm or neutral white option??
I've built LED Triples 2000 lumens for about the same price...
Are we allowed to mention that this is cheaper on Amazon? So... what is the point?

It's only cheaper on Amazon if you can get free shipping. Otherwise if you don't mind the wait, buying from MD would be more cost effective.

In the final analysis, it ends up being 5 bux cheaper to get this from massdrop than Amazon, even with prime, and 7 bux cheaper if you ordered the neutral white model.
Might be a good little light for the glove compartment but I'm always wary of body-mount switches because they go off in the pocket. You must hold down the button for two seconds to activate but I've had similar flashlights go off in my pocket when the switch is pressed by spare change, or when I lean against a kitchen counter. The specs don't say if there is an option for a "lockout" mode. Otherwise, it looks like a great little light.
