just got this in the mail and it doesn't work, I think its the switch, anyone else have this problem. I put the tail cap from my brass one on the TI and it works so I know its not the light, its not the battery......

Kickball_KraziePretty rediclulous. Mine is dead as well. Gotta love these scam manufacturers.

So what is the advantage of the 219 over the Cree for this light?

Summers219 has a high CRI, meaning that colors are more accurately represented in the beam. But, before you go and say "that sounds GREAT!" know that Nichia's and any high CRI light has a very yellow color to it, which a lot of people do not like, and it's at least 15% LESS bright than the pure-white Cree (in fact in this case it's even worse than that - the Nichia is almost 30% less bright.) Generally though, high CRI LED's are tolerable on small lights, but I would never ever EVER get high CRI yellow tint on a full size flashlight. Then you want white light with max lumens, but Nichia's can be quite nice on little keychain lights and such, as long as you don't mind the light color looking pretty yellow. It's too bad they can't make a white light that has a high CRI. That would be the best of both worlds.

JalucianThat's why I like Nichia-219Cs. XP-G2 output with lower forward voltage, superior tint, 5000k cct, and 80+ CRI.

I don't know how many times I'm going to have to suggest this but here I go again for the second or third time. Whoever sets up a drop on ANY multi-level flashlight needs to specify the order of the levels!!! What is it on this one? L-M-H? M-L-H? Or something else? Come on, man!!

Well that ended quick. Says drop limited to 200 units, but both types are sold out with only 120 purchased.

Bought 2 blue titaniums - I love this light. One of the two had a tailcap failure for no apparent reason. I learned that Massdrop doesn't support this product and neither does Lumintop, with many unanswered support emails. Seeing all the people with problems, I would strongly advise everyone to not buy anything from this manufacturer, and I wonder if I should buy anything that is not a US name brand from Massdrop at all. It is a shame because I think that both their AAA and AA lights are the best (functionally) around.

VR_Latte100% agree. Worst customer support I've seen in a long time. I bought around 10 of these lights in a mix of blue titanium, regular titanium and brass. 3 were sent with the wrong LED. After all the failures I stopped giving them away as gifts. If you can't trust a flashlight to work when you need it it's just a paperweight on your keychain. Olight I3E EOS, Fenix LD02 (original version, but now discontinued) and ancient Fenix LD01 are all better choices if you don't want to worry about whether or not your flashlight will suddenly stop working just when you need it.

I really like mine, but the pocket clip is pretty iffy. It's fallen out a couple of times in the last month. A longer, deep carry clip would fix this, but I can't find one aftermarket.
That's the ONLY thing I can fault this light for.

Apparently this is M-L-H with a push-button switch. This needs to go in the description Massdrop. Also beamshots (the pattern) would be nice. I doubt we'll see them, but there's hope.

I wouldn't call mode order superficial. It can very well determine how suitable a flashlight is to a task. You wouldn't want a tactical flashlight that turns on at a blinding full power when you're going to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

I'll give you the descriptions could be better. I just think it shows that the person/people who write the copy for a lot of these EDC drops aren't specifically flashlight nuts or they would know to include accurate run times, mode handling, battery compatibility and other pertinent details. They're going to write more for a general audience because that's their knowledge level. All the information is out there and in far greater detail than MD could ever hope (or want) to squeeze into a drop description. :P Just have to hop over to CPF or Google and look for it.

Could Massdrop indicate if this is M-L-H or L-M-H?

Benjamin6264Should be M-L-H if is like mine like mine. If you want one in L-M-H check the custom Blue Titanium drop Massdrop is doing. It still has a few days left right now but will take longer to get.

StemI don't really like the color scheme on that one...I guess I'll get used to M-L-H.
