I hope this drop gets extended a couple more days. This seems like a pretty good deal, and it would be my 1st mech keyboard.

PeacefulCrawfishIt's a fantastic starter board (my first as well), and probably the best price you'll find for a quality mechanical keyboard. For a first mech, though, I'd recommend getting the regular keycaps instead of the typewriter ones. Save yourself $20, and actually get a good typing experience. Typewriter caps seem to mostly be a novelty thing and not great for typing.

pterosaurJust want to say that the typewriter caps aren't bad at all. I use one of these as my daily driver keyboard at home and after an adjustment period I really like it. I am missing my F-keys though so once my new TKL keyboard arrives I may be retiring the Magicforce.
