Great Board - No issues
I'll occasionally use this board over some of my more expensive boards just because it never double-taps or ghosts. The Bluetooth is nothing special, but it does function as advertised. Overall, Magicforce is an underrated brand and I have never had issues with their products.

This Is Not a Review, Rene.
I hate to break it to you, Crinkles, but this isn't a review. It's a set of impressions intended to offset the verdicts of unlucky reviewers. (Hey, I'm just trying to give you a realistic sense of what to expect.) Some knowledgeable foonts here on MassDrop have reported problems with Magicforce's quality control. Astonishingly, that hasn't been my experience. In fact, I haven't endured a single putrid moment with the MF68BTv2 during the seven months I've owned it. And in case you're woundering, Patient X, I bought the exact iteration being offered in this drop. 'Pon arrival, the wee 68 proved minty and unproblematic, much like the background singer I had to book last weekend. And like said singer, this board promises to look younger than I ever did for a longer stretch than my actual youth lasted. With the exception of the logo and the not-quite-5.0 BT, I like everything about the 68v2. The color scheme is conservative enough for work without being monotonous, the keycaps are chunky without being obtrusive, and the white LEDs are useful without being ostentatious. Connection is swift and switching is unproblematic. Yeah, the space bar is a Hank scratchy and I'd have liked more choices for the keycaps and switches, but everything feels Jake and not janky. The fact I haven't swapped out the caps even though I have a closetful of contestants means the OMs are satisfying enough pour moi. (Your vileage may marry.) I've had zero battery issues, fires or scuffs. This keyb has never snuffed itself once. Worried about the bluetooth being responsive? Let me commiserate: I've dealt with 3.0 boards before and I'll never buy another. Bad bluetooth can't be redeemed by looks or convenience. If it stutters, send it back. But so far, my 68v2 has been hella responsive. It hasn't lost its place when I'm crafting fiction or whittling ripostes. So to sum, I've found this keyb to be reliable, attractive and bleeding useful for the seven months I've fondled it. If anything changes, I'll let you know in gutteral tones. Or to putt it another way, Mister Woods: Suffice to bleat that when it comes to MF68BTv2, the benefits outweigh the blemishes. Why? Because there aren't any blemishes and they wouldn't have weighed anything anyway.

VarholiaglimpHonestly for every 3 or 4 they make well they fuck one up, with mine the USB port is very poor and will often disconnect and the included cable just straight up doesn't work. Oh and the battery is loose inside the case and while rattle.

TLWR: Even with my issues, I would not hesitate to reccomend this keyboard. The value of this keyboard is huge and even with it's issues, I can't stop liking how it feels. It's easily better than my $130 Logitech keyboard, the keycaps are great and make me so conflicted because of the lack of transparency, so it's a bit difficult to use in a dark room for living room use. 1A at 5V charging is best, 2A at 5V max, plugged into high amp charger causes the keyboard to react badly. Actual Review Time: It's weirdly great and horrible at the same time. If your keyboard lights on fire check the battery wires. I pulled the bottom off to just look. It's weirdly partially built great and right next to it it's hack job. Like the soldering.... someone scratched an arrow into the solder mask showing do it like this... maybe? My battery was actively shorted to the screw which threads into the aluminum plate. There's not much left in the connection. There was strands of tin plated copper in the threads of the screw and in the hole. The wiring is super soft and silicone jacketed... too bad they couldn't spend 5 seconds to make sure they weren't driving a screw through a wire or spend a few pennies on proper wire retention/protection. No warranty for me since to find the dangerous wiring I had to break the seal. Also my case had a scuff which compared to the battery is small. The chipset is labelled: M103CB D191101 and the bluetooth is: CSR 1010 A05U 8418RP The battery is: LTZK 705065 3500mAh 13.32Wh 3.7V 19c If I didn't open it 5 stars, but the dangerous wiring, spotty soldering, warranty voiding, the chewed up screwheads(all of them) and scuff on the case drop it to 2 stars. Edit: In the picture of the plastic rib that has to be cut back to allow the battery wires to lay down and avoiding any pinching. Edit 2: The keyboard feels solid, the halo lighting is nice, and it plays nice with my Note 9. The keys are really nice feeling, though I wish they were doubleshot PBT with translucent legends. Halo lighting is kinda nifty but doesn't help in a black room. Careful with the charger used, it played nice with my Samsung charger but the board crashes on the Huawei P30 charger. So 5V at 1A like it says, maybe 2A if you are frisky. I did install the QMX clips and it makes the Gateron Clear Whites sound like a membrane keyboard. It's very silent, and the switches trigger with very little travel so you can avoid bottoming out. The clear cases on the dampers also make the switches look better from the side. Oh... what happened? I'm really kind of curious because I wonder if it's related to what I found.

What a bummer! I love this thing. This was a great review too. It really is a nice little piece of crap, a polished turd. Too bad yours crapped out.

Bullet Points instead of Paragraphs Review. Go Nuts.
I dislike lengthy reviews which use overly-verbose language. Enjoy some bullet points: Things I do not like:
  • -Spacebar and Backspace make scratchy noises from the stabilizers; a bit annoying. Fixed with lube applied directly to stabilizer by removing keycap.
  • -I dislike the boxy font for the legends. Fixed by swapping out with another keycap set.
  • -The spacebar is white instead of gray. Fixed by swapping out with another keycap set.
  • -The bluetooth connection is choppy AF. This alone is why I give the review 3-stars instead of 4-stars.
  • -I dislike the placement of tilde/grave (~ and `) in the media cluster. This is an unintuitive and difficult-to-use location. I would rather it be another layer behind the ESC key.
  • -There are small plastic teeth which hold the USB cable in place on the bottom of the keyboard. These teeth create permanent indentations on the cable itself.
  • -The ugly "Magicforce" logo carved into the faceplate between the arrow cluster and media cluster.
  • -Does not have hot-swap sockets for the switches.
Things I do like:
  • -The MF68 layout is amazing for my general workflow at the office. I do miss the 10-key sometimes, so I placed an order for the MF21.
  • -The slim profile makes travel easy (home and office).
  • -Rubberized retractable feet for keyboard tilt. While these ones are a bit cheap, they are thicker plastic than other keyboards I have used.
  • -I chose Gateron Black switches; highly recommend these switches
  • -The price was just right. This was a major consideration in my purchase.
  • -I can store multiple bluetooth devices for connection (multiple laptops, phone, etc).
Things I am indifferent about:
  • -The lighting/LED modes are neat, but I do not use them.

Serviceable Bluetooth Keyboard, Great Keycaps, Questionable QA, Abysmal Customer Service.
You should only really buy this if you like the classic Macintosh Univers font on the keycaps. The bluetooth functionality works as you'd expect, battery life is solid, build quality is fine, but switching between devices is clunky. Quality Assurance isn't the best on these things as you've seen in the other reviews and comments, although my item didn't come with any glaring issues externally. But this brings us to the major issue with this keyboard. There is absolutely no warranty on this thing. If you have an issue come up after the 30 days in which you receive it (which you probably will because again, QA is spotty), you have no recourse as far as refunds, replacement, or service goes. Apparently Magicforce doesn't have a manufacturer's warranty on this item, or at least Drop's customer service won't direct you to them for it. I discovered this after I had a temporary issue with some keys no longer registering, which thankfully fixed itself after I disconnected the keyboard for a while. Had the issue persisted, I would be stuck with a pretty aluminum brick. It is unconscionable that Drop and Magicforce refuses to stand by their merchandise. I advise you look elsewhere unless you absolutely must have the keycaps on this thing, and patronize the numerous other mechanical keyboard companies that will stand by their products a month after you receive it.

Got mine in yesterday, Bluetooth seems to be a bit wonky
Solid board otherwise, but the Bluetooth on this seems pretty bad. I tried connecting to 3 different devices and using the swap functionality and it disconnected often. All good, I'll just use it wired.

[Edit: after a week of use, my keyboard has died. Won’t connect using USB, won’t connect using Bluetooth, won’t charge, not a sausage. Damn, I was really enjoying using it. More in the comments, now back to the original, initial review.] Argh, my partially written review was eaten by the internet. Possibly too long anyway... TL;DR - This is a great keyboard.
  1. Bluetooth 4 works great with quick switching between any of three BT devices.
  2. Build quality is good, no issues.
  3. Keycaps are really quite nice, and I’m actually considering leaving them on... and I’m someone who almost 100% of the time swaps in my own (I had SA Nuclear Data or SA Calm Depths in mind for this one).
  4. Layout is compatible with many enthusiast key sets (R1 is, I think, 1.25 L CTRL, 1.25 WIN, 1.25 L ALT, 6.25 SPACE, 1.25 FUNCTION, 1.25 R ALT, 1.25 R CTRL. Right Shift is standard size (long).
  5. I’m still working out how to get the USB switching part of the four-way BT1 / BT2 / BT3 / USB going, but BT1-BT-BT3 works like a charm. BT device switching is as good as my benchmark, the various Logitech BT keyboards.
About the only things missing from my personal wish list are probably only niggles - they’re on my list for my do-everything Unicorn. Most people will be very well served by the Magicforce 68 v2 Bluetooth as it stands.
  1. Programmability (ideally QMK or similar) as there’s currently no way on-keyboard to remap keys, or create/edit function layers. To the best of my knowledge Magicforce have never offered programmability (edit: looks like I may be wrong and there might be a Magicforce-specific programming tool, I’ll have a go and report back).
  2. Hotswappable / no-solder keyswitches, so I could go hog wild with Holy Pandas, Tealios, Angelic Penguins, or whatever the cool kids are running these days. This keyboard does not feature easily swappable switches.
All in all, this is a great keyboard - recommended.

CodsSo, I’m really bummed out that mine stopped working. When it was operational, it worked so well - switching quickly between an iPhone, a PC and an iPad. Unfortunately, it’s dead, which is a shame, as I’d gotten used to it as my daily driver at work.

CodsContact Magicforce for support. I believe they are handling warranty support for these. Mine is still ticking but I'm careful to use it only on low amp real certified chargers. I actually tossed all my knock off chargers after one kept ramming power through a smoldering cable. Hopefully they can help. I use mine on my Samsung TV with it's TizenOS, on my Note 9, and my Win 10 x64 PC. I found the shitty stock Apple charger or the Samsung charger so far play best with it. The stock cable is absolutely horrible and I have to kinda put pressure on it or it won't charge.

the disposable camera of keyboards
Update 5: Its Alive! I replaced the LiPo inside the keyboard with a similarly sized battery with a JST The poles are reversed on the keyboard so beware of that if you replace the battery in yours. I just hacked up the internal connector so that I could install the battery backwards. I can't get it to function as a keyboard anymore for some reason but it powers on and I can cycle through the LED options so we'll see what happens. Still waiting on the replacement from magicforce. Update 4: Completely dead and unusable. Update 3: The LEDs stopped functioning but only partially. If I increase the brightness they come on but turn off soon after and do not come on again until I increase the brightness ... it seems to reset to level 0. It stays connected to bluetooth and the charging LED continues to blink orange. I've reached out to support but I'm not optimistic. If anyone has had luck with Magicforce support I'd be interested to know your strategy. Update 2: This thing is still fun to use. I think the included cable was more of an issue than the USB port; I'm using a cable from Anker and I'm not having the weird blinking issue I did before. I do have a blinking orange light now and its constant no matter if i'm charging or on USB or bluetooth. I doubt this is a good sign. Update: I have to update this review based on extended use. The USB port on my keyboard has issues, when I plug it in the keyboard flashes or doesn't charge unless I wiggle the cable a little and it finds the right spot. I got enough use out of it before charging it that I was able to write my original review but after plugging it in a few times I'm less impressed. I'm very careful with the connector. I haven't had this keyboard for very long but I think it is definitely worth what I paid for it. It isn't particularly heavy but it doesn't feel cheap either. It would have been nice if instructions were included but operation is fairly intuitive. Since this is a bluetooth keyboard I would prefer an external facing USB port for quick plugging to charge; you need to 'install' the cable to charge. I've been really happy with how quickly it swaps between bluetooth devices. My Logitech MX Master 2 doesn't swap as well as this thing does. To pair to 3 separate devices I had to turn off bluetooth on the connected device and then pair with the next one; you could probably just disconnect. Otherwise, swapping from BT1 to BT2 would leave me connected to the first device.

Overall the board is quite nice but with a few QC issues, the included USB cable hardly works, the battery is loose. Other than that it's quite good.

i really like this board, actually. the look, the caps, the typing feel (i got gat blues) are all good to me...but the cable conked out a couple of months in; same for the bluetooth. i got it connected to my phone a couple of times when i first got it, but it just doesn't work at all anymore (can't pair) and hasn't since this was still mostly new. i try it once in a while but...no luck. i'd say get it if you don't care about the bluetooth.
