I scanned my flashlight with my Niton XRF and verified it is titanium (even though it says aluminum).

Mr_EThe bottom component, yes. Don't flame anodize the top component, as it houses the LED and glass which would easily shatter/melt under heat.

Is anyone else having an issue with their light? Mine won't switch modes consistently. It will go low, medium, medium, medium, low, high or some other random order.

Seriously, why did I receive an aluminum unit when I paid a premium for a titanium one? Is it just a packaging issue?

Great news! The group’s order was picked up from the vendor and is now on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Given the tracking information provided, our warehouse team expects the shipment to come in by 12/21 and will be ready to get the order repacked and off to you as soon as it comes in.
