Using a 3.5mm 90 degree adapter from amazon with my Moon Audio Blue Dragon cable that is for my Oppo PM-3. I already swapped the pads to the Shure Alcantara Ear Pads. Listening from Schiit Modi Multibit into Pangea Audio HP-201 w/ Sylvania 12AX7 NOS tube. I am a happy camper. Tonally it is what I think the Hifiman HE400S would sound like as a closed-back headphone. The earpad swap did not affect the sound much, but I hate velour against my skin. I experimented and so far am having the best results with the above combination.

007shark76Shure 1540s? How the hell did you get them to fit? There's no rim to put them on and the cup seems to big to go all the way over.

dlanoI had to stretch and kinda flip the part that goes over the cup inside-out and then stretch over the cups, but I was able to get them to fit. I have them on like the stock pads with less overlap on the cups.
