Question for any knowledgeable audiophile out there. Just purchased JBL lsr308 speakers for a pc setup. If I connect directly to my phone they are quiet but once connected to my pc through the motherboard a Maximus vi there seems to be a lot of emi. Would this item eliminate this noise or am I better off with a dedicated sound card. Also would like to know if I can hookup balanced audio cables with this. Thanks for any help.
