Powering this if you are in the UK seems to be a problem. I have just searched through the thread for answers, but couldn't find anything concrete. Can someone please recommend a power supply if you are in the UK and buy the 220v version of this please? I don't want to buy it unless I know I can power the thing. (Frankly I think it is kinda stupid that Massdrop haven't added it in, at least as an option. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot! I know let's make it as difficult for our customers to use this as possible! Nice!)

StuartsStuffThe EU power adapter will work in the UK, but you might need a EU/UK socket adaptor (kind of like a travel adaptor), too. But, it would be just as easy to buy the appropriately rated power supply (eBay, Amzon, or whatever). I ordered my O2 today with EU adaptor.

Stopeter44Thanks for replying. That's appreciated.
Can I ask which specific one you bought? Reading through this thread it seems like there are quite a few that didn't work. The voltage of the objective model for the UK seems to be 220, but UK voltage is actually 240 isn't it? I am a bit confused as to if a travel adapter is all that is needed?
This one for example:

One comment is:
"Does not account for voltage, don't expect a transformer built in... Always read the American devices power requirement, too much power can burn them out..."

StuartsStuffYes, a travel adapter is all that you’ll need for the 220VAC power supply to work.
The 220VAC power supply option will work on 240VAC power outlets (the actual ratings on the 220V option power supply is 240VAC 60Hz)
And for the plug adapter you‘ll need one like this:
search
* the adapter you linked won’t fit the power supply properly since it’s designed for plugs on a power cord rather than plugs on a power supply

StuartsStuffI ordered the O2 with the EU power adaptor, but you have to be careful with wall wart PSUs. The O2 needs a AC wall wart. That is, it's a step down transformer, from 240v to 24v, probably less. Many so called AC wall warts are in fact AC to DC transformers. It's bl**dy mine field.
So, Buy the EU power adaptor from mass drop (220V), then get this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Visua-Transformer-Converter-European-Adapter-Black/dp/B00JF0SZ6W/ref=sr_1_7?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1520442465&sr=1-7&keywords=eu+to+uk+plug+adapter&dpID=31Fk5NjRpuL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
or similiar. Get the cheapest.

Stopeter44Shot myself in the foot! I just realised I didn't follow my own advice. I was expecting an EU specified (Schuko) wall wart. I bought another one, but it is such an inelegant solution, that I decided to sell my Massdrop on. I definitely need to pay more attention. I think for the money, you'd be better off with, say, a Magni 3 from Schiit UK, You wont have to worry about the customs charges.
