Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. I have another question, is it worth buying, as a cheaper alternative to the hd 6xx, the hd 58x jubilee headphones? And i also want to know which of these -hd 6xx, hd 58x, he-4xx- behaves better with retro music, I mean those from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, reaching the 90s and 2000s. I would appreciate the help. Thanks!
So my personal ranking would be: 1:HD6xx 2:HD58x 3:HE4xx
This is all sound based (very personal). Comfort wise they are pretty equal.
Yeah, I'm getting convinced about buying these headphones. The only is that now i'm out of money. So I'm trying to convince my dad to buy them as an introduction to audiophile's world. I beg the units sold don't reach quickly the 2250, now they're about 2010. Anyway, thanks for letting me know about these headphones. Greetings!
