Random question, but I'm looking for something in which I can put in audio from my PC to my amp, then to some kind of switch where I can plug in both my headphones and desktop speakers. And from this physical device I can toggle between the two, rather than having to do this through windows? Prefer something that would not degrade the audio signal.
This seems to have that functionality, but I already have an amp, so I don't really need the power it provides: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N14SY65/?coliid=IRM5O3VIGUWOV&colid=2N8LCMXZK5K1H&psc=0

bluestankMy answer to this problem was just connecting the RCA-out (pre-amp) to my speaker system, and connecting my headphones to the headphone jack on the amp. I have the LittleDot MKII. Then when i want to listen with my headphones, i turn off my speakers, and when i want to listen to my speakers, i turn them on. It doesnt really matter if the audio is playing from the headphones too whilst listening to the speakers so they can always be on. More burn-in for the headphones i guess? lol

bluestankI use an AG06 mixing console from Yamaha, it's powered from USB and has a DAC (and other useful stuff), but you have to turn the headphone knob off if you want to silence headphones or speakers. So maybe you should look into mixing consoles.
