People you must know this, on Black Friday I asked if I can cancel my transaction due to a local very good Sennheiser HD650 Apogee Groove. However I am getting the answer today, long after th deal was gone, missed it obviously due to a delay in response, but this morning I find that my transaction was cancelled. Massdrop you can't do that to people, it is also against your policies, I want my transaction back, please!

csmarinSo you're complaining that your order got cancelled because you send an email to massdrop asking to cancel your order...?
lol

csmarinIt was a question, didn't expect they would jump at it and do it without confirmation. If you look in site policies, any request as such after drop has ended is meaningless since money are release to the manufacturer. Once drop has closed it stays that way. So they should commit to the promise and send me the product.

csmarinSo you are using their policies against THEM but not you for the fact that you asked KNOWING it was against policies? You asked to have it cancelled.

millerb7No, I asked whether it would be possible to cancel it, and since I got the response in 3 days after deal expired, I lost the deal and now the order. So basically I have nothing now, after fighting with all the other users there...

csmarinThat's completely incorrect, I haven't read the policy in a while but if you ask to cancel your order due to special circumstances (eg. delays, problems, etc.) I'm sure MD will do that for you - I have requested a refund plenty of times due to huge delays and have gotten my money back every time.

csmarinI am afraid this time it was only a question of "is this possible", and one of the agents was so eager to help that he cancelled my order. Is there a way I can get my order back ???

csmarinThe name of the agent who rushed to cancel my order is Kelly. She can't undo the wrongdoing she's done. Can someone else at Massdrop sort this out?

csmarinEmail them.
You won't get the peer pressure you'd want by posting here.

csmarinDo you know where I can do that? I won't stop until this is corrected. Since the drop is finished I suppose the item is still there somewhere, I could maybe repay for it and reinstate the order?! Asking a question DOES NOT mean commitment. Why agent was so eager to cancel it? Was someone else been promised in case of a withdrawal? Is the stake that high that we can now play with people or what?

csmarinSorry to hear what happened to you csmarin. All you can do now is to email MD directly again and seek a resolution amicably. Better that than badmouthing and accusing MD of robbing you of a headphone that you committed to purchase by joining, to which you asked if you could cancel.
Albeit you did ask via email (we're taking your word for it as we don't have the full email in context) if you could cancel, which was interpreted that you wanted to cancel and hence the action taken.
I'm sure the deal you saw would come back again...who knows, it's the same chance of this HD6XX dropping again...cheers mate!
csmarinFlagged it up for you

csmarinWhy not buy the HD650 from your local retailer, leave the package unopened with receipt and then wait for Massdrop to contact you.

csmarinI agree with you fully, this is how I should have done it in expectation of a response from Massdrop. I now have learned my lesson and I will know what to do next time.
