Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. Not all that similar. These are a little more even overall, but the THX00 will be a bit more detailed and slightly brighter sounding with worse bass extension.
Numbers on paper are just that - numbers. Just because something measures similarly doesn't mean it'll sound the same. A Bose speaker might measure the same as a Magico or a Magnepan, but I can assure you the two will sound nothing alike. Also, the enclosure plays a huge part in how a speaker (or headphone) sounds. Lastly, it stands to reason that there are different grades of biocellulose drivers and the difference between the driver in these and the X00 is probably more than just 10mm. Just because the drivers share the same cone material doesn't mean the rest of the driver is the same.
