Got them today and I can safely say that my pair has no clipping issue. Even when I turn up the volume crazily, like >100dBA Max, there is no issue with subbass-heavy songs (including "Why So Serious?" by Hans Zimmer and "Fifth of Whiskey" by Verse & Bishop discussed on Head-fi).
So if you meet the clipping unfortunately, I suggest contacting MD. Elex are comfortable and sounding pretty nice. Happy so far!
