freddiAfter getting an extremely good desktop amp and headphone setup I realized I don't like having it all stuck in one place. Instead, I've decided to just get a ridiculously expensive pair of custom IEMs so I can have the same experience everywhere.

alderaanSo I love the bio cellulose bass. There aren't many custom iems that offer hybrids. Meaning, a dynamic driver for bass and balanced armature(s) for mids and highs. There are even less (only 1 I believe) that use biocellulose dynamic drivers for the bass spectrum. So this is where I am at. Advanced Acousticwerkes W500.

sirkuttinThis is really good deal you are offering. Jotunheim could be very well endgame desktop, along with fostex thx00 ebony.
Sometimes, i think premium IEMs are more costly than headphone. The likes of noble katana , Advanced Acousticwerkes, campfire audio definitely cost arm and leg.but its all amazing, i demoed katana ,and it blew me away how much detail and headroom it had , considering it was built toward audiophile than musician. but i'm more than sure that musician could use this as stage or studio monitoring. It's just that great

VekitYeah the jotunheim is great. i liked having the balanced output option. I created some custom t50rp headphones and made a balanced cable. It definitely enhanced the sound. I just think headphones and big amps are a bit of a hassle. Yes, the iems I want cost more than all my audio gear put together haha.

rantngOh right. Had a brain lapse. I forgot about that one because of the price haha. Yeah that one is pretty ideal. That may be what I have to wait for. 1600 would have been amazing... Compared to 2 grand...
