Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. Not having heard the Momentum 2, I would say they are still a better sounding headphone. They are no doubt warmer sounding and not as bright as HE350. They are also considerably more expensive and they really aren't in the same league.
If you have the budget for the Momentum 2 wireless, these really shouldn't be an option. For $299 I'd seriously look at the Monoprice M1060, that most will enjoy better than either, if you don't need a portable.
Unless you referring to the cheaper Momentum M2 on ear headphones. Still at $229 I consider the M1060 for not too much more.
If you need something portable (closed back and wireless) the Sennheiser is a solid option.
