I wanted to get the coppers for gaming and some typing. I want to try the new Halo switches. People are saying MX Clears were too stiff so maybe not the Halo Clears. I'm not really sure how would the Halo True would feel. I hear it will prevent bottoming out but I'm not entirely sure how would that feel in terms of gaming. Any advice?

KirasagiI have the exact same concern. Like tactile feedback, do not want to bottom out or too stiff. Cant decide on clear vs true.

dream3If the Trues are actually close to the feel of topre than I think they'd be fine for gaming. In my experience, Topre has the most noticeable tactile feedback of any switch I've used, they don't feel stiff to me at all, and mine are completely stock.
However, no one has used these Halo switches yet, but the good news is if you don't like em, you can just scoop some readily available Gateron switches from just about anywhere, since this board has hot-swappable switches.

dream3If you don't want or don't like to bottom out, go with the Halo Trues. If you are more of a "I like to press the switch to the bottom" kind of guy, go with the Halo Clears.

OverKillThis really is the main question. I'm not really sure if I like not bottoming out since I've never experienced it. I use cherry blues for gaming and a Mac keyboard at work. Do you anything else to compare Halo Trues to? How would the trues compare to say browns?
