What kind of receiver or setup do I need to use these in my apartment?

jysonDepends what you'll be using:
(1) DAC with RCA, XLR or 3.5 mm TRS output. If you use XLR then the connection is straightforward. If you're using RCA, you'll need an RCA to 1/4 inch TS connector for right and left channels. If using 3.5 mm output then use the new cable that comes with the speakers.
(2) Computer output going from a 1/8 inch TRS connector to two 1/4 inch TS connectors which is the cable now coming with the speakers.
(3) Strereo Output with either XLR, RCA or 3.5 mm TRS output, see (1) above for connection details.
