Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

This guy has no idea what he's talking about. He can't even capitalize correctly. You're such a child lol.
@thegamer36 Read what @MusicIsGreat has to say. I know you didn't say that the LSR305's and the LSR30X's are the same but if you're suggesting it, then people like n333 who don't know any better will assume they're completely the same. In this case, they're 100% not the same because driver matching within +/- 1dB is a huge deal, especially at this price point. On top of that, they gave us a more beautiful finish, in my opinion since that is personal preference, and they priced it the same as buying two separately after taxes from other sources.
This is an excellent purchase for anyone looking to buy a pair of bookshelf speakers. I received my pair a couple weeks ago and absolutely love them. I hope anyone interested actually sees a post in the discussion page that explains why this is different from the originals instead of blindly believing they're the same and it can be gotten from elsewhere.
I'd like you to show me where the LSR305's have sold for $200. Not saying I don't believe you, I just literally have never seen that except for used pairs.
The LSR305 sells for 150 each and 300 per pair at most places. For 280, you're getting the driver matching and the superior lacquer finish. The latter is personal preference. However, driver matching does matter. That's why there are software solutions for room correction and EQ balancing. While those are there when needed, having the actual drivers match is truer than using a software solution. If you don't believe it matters, take your pair of headphones for example. In most entry level headphones, the driver matching is probably matched to within +/- 5dB. I'm not stating that as a fact but just as something that seems likely. So take your pair of headphones and go to this website http://www.audiocheck.net/soundtests_headphones.php and go to the driver matching part and listen to it. You'll notice the difference if your headphones drivers are not matched well. With my ATH-M50x's, it starts off a little bit more on the right side and then pans to the center and stays there until near the end when it pans back to the right side. On my 1More Triple Driver IEM's, there is actually less panning. I think I read somewhere these are matched to +/- 3 dB, but I could be wrong. I Now the same test on my LSR30X's has the entire sweep centered. This applies to the 5's and the X's but the imaging on these speakers is amazing so when properly placed in a room, it's like the sound is literally coming from in front of you so it's very easy to tell that it doesn't pan left or right.
To say it's not a good deal, well. that's up to the individual so I can't say you're wrong. However, at the current time of writing, there is no pair cheaper than this one after tax and shipping (for the USA since it has free shipping here and I didn't get taxed buy maybe Cali residents do). If you're not trying to wait a potentially long time for a deal that may never come again, this is a very solid purchase.
